Buoy is now in Angular

Updated October 9, 2026

Buoy is now in Angular. Add it with one command, then sign in and run your app.

Start with three commands

Run these in your Angular app folder:

ng add @buoy-gg/angular
npx buoy login
ng serve

That is the same simple start as React Native. Add a tool later, and it shows up after you restart the dev server.

Buoy finds your tools

The builder finds the tools you installed. Its early hook starts before your app, so Network can see the first web call.

provideBuoy() links Angular Router, Angular Query, NgRx and Highlight when their packages are there. Put it last in your app providers.

Prod builds drop Buoy tools. Only a tiny empty stub stays.

Angular and your phone

The builder supports Angular 19 to 22. We tested Ionic Angular on iOS and Android. Capacitor shipped in this release too. Read the Capacitor guide.

To set it up with an AI coding agent, start at Start here in the Angular guide, or open buoy.gg/install-angular.md.

Beta notes

NGXS needs one adapter line. SignalStore and a Signals view are not shipped yet. A Signals view is on the roadmap.

Nx and custom builders use manual setup. Highlight needs Angular 20 or newer.

Try Buoy in your Angular app.

Read the Angular guide, then run:

ng add @buoy-gg/angular
